Open DJI Fly, DJI Go or the app for your model with the aircraft and controller powered on.
The app prompts when firmware is available; keep both connected and batteries above 50%.
Alternatively connect to a computer and use DJI Assistant 2.
Update every battery too — DJI batteries carry their own firmware and a mismatch blocks takeoff.
